In 2014, as part of the project for the construction of the highway «Second ring road around Minsk on the section from the highway M-3 Minsk-Vitebsk to the highway M-6/E28 Minsk-Grodno-border of the Republic of Poland» near the village of Goroshki, a steel galvanized corrugated polycentric structure with a three-radius outline (SC-17NA) was erected.
The design has the following parameters:
— the size of the corrugation is 381×140 mm.
— construction length-46.56 m
— span of 13.87 m.
The structural elements are zinc-coated according to EN ISO 1461: 2000.
The construction of the foundations, Assembly and filling of the structure was carried out within two months. The Assembly of the structure itself was carried out by a team of six people using a crane and a tower.
The steel structure was filled with a mixture of sand and gravel, the mixture was compacted to a standard density of 98%. The depth of the filled layer above the steel structure is 1.8 m. In addition, a layer of geomembrane waterproofing (HDPE) of 1.5 mm is arranged above the structure. The cost of construction is significantly less than the cost of construction built using traditional technologies.
